2.1 Most items sold by Ciao Amore Vintage are pre‑loved/vintage and may show minor signs of wear consistent with age and previous use.
2.2 We clean and/or launder all pre‑loved items where necessary and follow strict hygiene procedures before offering them for sale.
2.3 We aim to describe each item accurately, including size, condition, and noticeable flaws. Colours may appear slightly different due to screen settings and lighting.
2.4 It is your responsibility to read the description, check measurements, and review photos before purchasing.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
3.2 We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but confirmed orders will not be affected.
3.3 Payment must be made in full at checkout. Currently, we accept EFT (bank transfer) as our primary payment method.
3.4 Orders are only processed once payment has been received and cleared in our account.

4. Orders and Availability

4.1 All items are subject to availability. Many items are one‑of‑a‑kind and cannot be restocked once sold.
4.2 Placing an item in your cart does not reserve it; the item is only secured once checkout and payment are complete.
4.3 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example in cases of suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, or stock errors. If payment has been made, we will refund you for the cancelled order.

5. Shipping and Delivery

5.1 We ship within South Africa using selected couriers or delivery services.
5.2 Shipping fees, options, and estimated delivery timeframes are shown at checkout. These estimates are indicative and not guaranteed.
5.3 Once an order has been handed to the courier, risk of loss passes to the buyer. We are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by the courier, but we will assist you with reasonable support in tracking your parcel.
5.4 Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are correct. Ciao Amore Vintage is not liable for delivery issues due to incorrect or incomplete information.

5.5 If you choose local pickup, you are responsible for collecting your order within the agreed time. Uncollected orders may be cancelled at our discretion.

6.2 As a vintage and pre‑loved store, we generally do not accept returns for change of mind, fit, or minor signs of wear that were described or reasonably expected for vintage items.
6.3 If you receive an item that is significantly not as described (for example, a major undisclosed flaw), contact us within the timeframe stated in our Refund & Return Policy, and we will review the case.

7. Hygiene and Care

7.1 All pre‑loved items are carefully cleaned and/or laundered where necessary before sale, and we follow strict hygiene procedures when handling products, storage, and packaging.
7.2 Care instructions (if provided on labels or in the description) should be followed. We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect washing, drying, or care.

8.1 You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose or to interfere with its normal operation.
